A Bit About Me

A Bit About Me

Harris County is my home and I was born in Hamilton. I raised my 3 children here and I have one grandson. Being in my yard, gardening, watching the birds, hummingbirds specifically are a few of my favorite past times. Oh, and I just love old homes. I have served my community since 1998 as an elected member of the Town of Pine Mountain Council, for which I am Mayor Pro-Tem. As Chairman of the Pine Mountain Tourism Association’s Board of Directors, I work closely with the Executive Director to promote our area to our visitors. This past year I received my Resort and Second Home Property Specialist Certification and look forward to opening a door for others to make Harris County their home.

I have been a Rotarian for more than nine years where I have achieved the Paul Harris Fellowship status. This year I will be the President of our Rotary club of Harris County. I consider my years organizing and performing a “Good Touch Bad Touch” puppet show for the second graders of our county the most important volunteering I have done. Time spent helping children will never be wasted. As a real estate agent since 2003, I have thoroughly enjoyed helping match others to their dream homes. I have been recognized multiple times though out the years for the Circle of Excellence from the Columbus Board of Realtors. In addition, I received a Merit Award for exceeding $5 million in production from Waddell Realty. As a native of Pine Mountain and Harris County, I deeply appreciate the quality of life we enjoy. My home, Pine Mountain, Georgia, is a small town with large charm! Gateway to Callaway Gardens, and home to Georgia’s Franklin D. Roosevelt State park, we are located in West Central Georgia, in Harris County. While we are experiencing growth, we treasure our vast natural space which fosters opportunities for recreation and relaxation… assuring a very pleasant place to call home and supporting our thriving tourism industry. If your “to do” list includes a morning of world-class golf at Callaway Gardens, a bike ride, watercolor class, volunteering, leaving the world behind on the Pine Mountain Trail, or just getting home from work earlier without traffic jams, you will benefit from taking a closer look at living in Harris County.
